Taliban Militants Have Been Eliminated

As per Afghani media sources, around 172 Taliban Militants Have Been Eliminated by the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces after a series of operations conducted by the Afghan forces throughout the country for two consecutive days. According to the Afghan Ministry of Defense, operation in Badakhshan, Takhar, Nimruz, and Faryab Nangarhar, 85 Taliban terrorists were killed, and 31 were wounded. The following day Afghan military continued to report casualties among the militants in different provinces; the number reached 172 militants, with more than 100 being injured.

The army killed 25 Taliban fighters in the Faryab province, district Shirin Tagab. Among these 25 people, one was the commander of Taliban forces, Qari Rahmatullah. Militant weapons and Improvised explosive devices were also diffused by the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces. The state of Afghanistan has been under a strong grip of an internal conflict between the Taliban Forces and the official government. The Taliban movement has taken a large area under its influence, mainly the rural areas, while the larger cities were attacked as well. Several anti-terrorist operations were conducted by the ANDSF in the country.
