Qatari Defense Minister Meets with Turkish Naval Forces Commander and Lebanese Army Chief

Doha, Qatar – Qatar’s Defense Minister, HE Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, held separate meetings with high-ranking military officials this week.

On Thursday, Dr. Al Attiyah met with Admiral Ercument Tatlioglu, Commander of the Turkish Naval Forces, in Doha. The discussion focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation and addressing issues of mutual interest. The meeting was also attended by Qatar’s Naval Forces Commander, HE Staff Major-General (Navy) Abdullah Hassan Al Sulaiti.

Earlier in the week, Dr. Al Attiyah met with General Joseph Aoun, Commander of the Lebanese Armed Forces. Their discussions centered on areas of common concern and ways to enhance military cooperation between the two nations. General Aoun reportedly highlighted the challenges faced by the Lebanese military and its critical needs. The meeting was also attended by Qatar’s Chief of Staff, HE Lieutenant-General (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al Nabit, with discussions aimed at developing training cooperation between the Qatari and Lebanese forces.
