On June 10th, 2022, the President of the Republic determined, on the recommendation of the Government, that Finland will provide additional defense equipment support to Ukraine.

More precise information on the substance, mode of delivery, or timetable of the help will not be shared to guarantee that it reaches its destination.

When decided on Finland’s extra support, both Ukraine’s requirements and the Defence Forces’ resources were considered.

Ukraine has sought material help from the EU and NATO member states in response to Russia’s military assault.
